Mehfil opened in BHEL Township in 2025. It is the sixteenth restaurant the group has opened since the first one in Narayanguda in 2006, and one of three that opened that year. The others were KPHB and ECIL.
What it serves, and what it costs
The same menu as every other Mehfil in Hyderabad except Box O’ Mehfil, which has a menu of its own. The Single Biryani here is the portion the group introduced at its first restaurant in Narayanguda, a plate full of biryani made for one person, with no sharing needed.
Alongside the biryani: kebabs and tandoori, Irani chai, Chinese, curries and breads. The restaurant has a dining room, a takeaway counter, and it takes party orders.
What holds across the city is the price of a biryani: under ₹150 for one person, wherever this menu is served. Good food should not have to carry a premium price tag, and that has been the argument since 2006. Which neighbourhoods it reaches
BHEL Township sits at the north-western edge of the city. The restaurant serves BHEL Township, Lingampally and Chandanagar, the three areas it claims on its own page.
BHEL and KPHB opened in the same year and are the two that landed on this side of the city; ECIL, the third of 2025, went to the north-east.
Hours
5am to midnight, every day. The doors open at 5am for Irani chai, biryani and the bakery start at 11am, and the rest of the menu follows at noon.
